APARC Intranet & Digital Knowledge Platform

1. Purpose and Regulatory Alignment

The APARC Intranet ("Platform") is a secure, access-controlled digital system owned and operated by APARC Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. ("APARC").

The Platform is designed and maintained in alignment with:

  • Information Security Management Systems
  • Applicable Indian laws relating to data protection, confidentiality, and professional healthcare practice
By accessing or using the Platform, the user agrees to comply with these Terms, organizational policies, and applicable regulatory standards.

2. Authorized Users and Role-Based Access Control

Access to the Platform is provided strictly on a need-to-know and role-based basis, consistent with access control principles.

User categories include:

  • Authorized Staff & Healthcare Professionals
  • Patients & General Public Subscribers

Each category is granted limited, purpose-specific access, and users shall not attempt to bypass or escalate access privileges.

3. Confidentiality and Restricted Use of Professional Content

All professional and internal materials available on the Platform—including clinical pathways, physiotherapy and rehabilitation protocols, SOPs, manuals, presentations, videos, assessment tools, outcome measures, and training content—are classified as Confidential Organizational Information.

Authorized staff and healthcare professionals explicitly acknowledge and agree that:
  • Content is provided solely for internal professional use within APARC
  • Screenshotting, screen recording, copying, reproduction, transmission, or distribution in any form is strictly prohibited
  • Content shall not be shared with external individuals, institutions, or digital platforms without written authorization

Any violation constitutes a breach of confidentiality, information security non-conformance, and may attract disciplinary action, access termination, legal proceedings, and reporting under applicable laws.

4. Information Security and Monitoring

In compliance with information management requirements:

  • User activities may be logged, monitored, and audited
  • Access logs, session history, and content usage patterns may be reviewed for security, quality, and compliance purposes
  • Any suspected breach, misuse, or unauthorized disclosure must be reported immediately

Users acknowledge that there is no expectation of privacy regarding platform usage beyond lawful data protection obligations.

5. Patient Education Content – Scope and Limitation

Patient education and public health materials are provided for educational and awareness purposes only.

These materials:

  • Do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
  • Are not a substitute for in-person or teleconsultation with a qualified physiotherapist or healthcare professional
  • Must not be used for self-diagnosis or independent treatment decisions

APARC disclaims responsibility for outcomes arising from misuse, misinterpretation, or unsupervised application of patient education content.

6. Legal Disclaimer

All physiotherapy and rehabilitation-related content on the Platform:

  • Is intended to support evidence-informed practice, not replace professional clinical judgment
  • Must be applied only after individualized patient assessment, considering clinical condition, contraindications, red flags, and comorbidities
  • Shall be used only by qualified and authorized healthcare professionals within their legal scope of practice
APARC shall not be liable for any injury, adverse event, or clinical outcome resulting from:
  • Application of generalized protocols without patient-specific assessment
  • Use of content by unqualified individuals
  • Deviation from accepted standards of physiotherapy and rehabilitation care

7. Intellectual Property Protection

All materials hosted on the Platform are protected under copyright and intellectual property laws.

No license, assignment, or transfer of rights is granted beyond limited viewing rights as per authorized access.

8. Access Suspension and Termination

APARC reserves the right to suspend or terminate access without notice in cases of:

  • Policy violation
  • Information security breach
  • Professional misconduct
  • Regulatory or legal risk

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India, with jurisdiction vested in competent courts.
